Thanks KABC for opening up this investigation! Villaraigosa looked a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Nervous. Uneasy. Caught. Odd, how Ed Boks is now saying that L.A. is #5 in the U.S. Wasn't it just a few weeks ago that he told Mayor Villaraigosa that L.A. was #1? Hmmmm.

Thanks to John North, KABC reporter, for shedding some much needed light on this beleaguered department. There are solutions to the problems they are facing but they can only be successful with competent, honest leadership. We don't have that now and the situation will only get worse until the Mayor realizes that Boks is a liability and must be jettisoned.

Marie's brave sacrifice will be the impetus for real change. All readers who care about the animals should petition John North and KABC to expand this coverage and investigate all of Marie's allegations and prove her right, especially when the Mayor has gone on the record to call her a liar!

Hi Marie,

I'm sorry you are going thought his but am impressed by how you are handling it. I am amazed by what some people get away with. I'm proud of you.

What day will you be on the John and Ken show? I'll try to catch it.

Any more news on Stu?

I have know Marie Atake for many years and she is is one of the most honerable and highly ethical persons I have ever known. Her love for animals is well known throughout the community. On the other hand I believe Mayor Villaraigosa is only interested in himself, I find him dishonest in many fronts. We need to get rid of him and his dishonest cronies!!
